eating, sleeping, decluttering
May. 3rd, 2008 05:10 pmI blew my calorie count yesterday by having a diner turkey cheeseburger deluxe for dinner. 200 calories in the bun!?!? I think I'll forego the bun for a while thankyouverymuch, possibly also the cheese.
I've eaten pretty craptastic today and think I might just do a protein powder juice shake for dinner to keep the calorie and fat count in check.
My sleeping has been off all week - stayed up too late 3 nights, then fell asleep sitting up in mac's bed last night. I really truly must go to bed as soon as he is asleep tonight and I may take an advil pm to aid with the aches and the sleep.
I found a stash of magazines this week and they are taking up 1/4 of a side table. I went through some of them this week tearing out articles I want, I am hoping to do the rest this weekend. Today though I am going through articles/features that I had previously torn out of magazines and organized by topic into three ring binders. I used to actually use these, but they are from a different life - there is a section on bars, one on entertaining, one on eating out. I am going to cull what is not relevant (also, how many places are still around in NY after 6 or 7 years? not many), and pull out all recipes. Recipes are going into a new binder to go in the kitchen - as recipes to try (successful ones will go into my notebook recipe book). Health articles going into one section of a binder, organizing stuff into another, cleaning stuff into another, and finally shopping stuff (although that might really all get put into bookmarks on my puter). [update on this: I just tossed out 2 inches of paper - good times]
