blah de blah blah
Aug. 7th, 2013 09:20 am2 of the 5 things I listed on ebay last week sold. Only about $10, but a decent size of stuff, the two largest items. Of the other 3, one will go to goodwill and the others will get re-listed, probably elsewhere.
I cleared out a pile of papers this week also ans grabbed a few more random items for the goodwill bag.
Still need a bigger push to get stuff out consistently.
This has been a week of timesuck via fb games. ugh. But really, whatev, harmless and not that much of a timesuck, a few hours a night.
What I did accomplish this week was a bit of straightening in mac/E's room. Mostly putting books (that he has not read) back onto the bookshelf and putting bins of toys onto the bin shelf. We did uncover a fair amount of trash, a few books to go to half-price, and 2 boxes of rocks that need to go into the backyard. We did it all in 15 minutes and I think I can get him to do more of these 15 minute clean-ups if we keep working at it.
School starts in 3 weeks and I am SO READY. I want a more regular routine and I want him using his brain. He has read NOTHING (save a comic book) all summer, even with the offer of money for each book he read. Also? I love buying school supplies. LOVE IT.
